”The art in craft gives life, the craft in art moves it. I really enjoy to incorporate people’s favorite art motives or their hobby’s artefacts into contemporary amalgamate of functional furniture and piece of art”

Milko is an artist involved with the full design-craft cycle of furniture and interior. The creation of a product begins with the in-depth knowledge of the materials and how they feel and respond to the processing. The materials he uses are: wood – the closest to us through all our life, semi-precious metals – because of their physical properties and resin – the shapeshifter of all materials. Resin can be a hand that lifts high the bright metals without suffocating the warmth of the wood. Focused on user friendly materials, custom and variable design with special accent on multipurpose usability, every item promises fun and relaxing, stress free experience. Radiant creations that you feel.

Often the start is on the paper, and he turns the idea into a planned schematic. The process with the materials is simple. Cutting and assembly. Precision is of utmost importance. All wood and metal pieces should fit as if they know the plan themselves. Later the coloring and the resin is repeated three times with sanding in between. The last step is polishing everything.
Milko’s lineage has woodworkers, painters and sculptors in each generation. He studied biology and chemistry in high school and jewelry in the arts academy. Graduated with master’s degree. Started working in designer furniture company before graduation and quickly got his path laid in front of him. He’s been involved with furniture and jewelry since.
