Milko is an artist involved with the full design-craft cycle of furniture and interior. The creation of a product begins with the in-depth knowledge of the materials and how they feel and respond to the processing. The materials he uses are: wood – the closest to us through all our life, semi-precious metals – because of their physical properties and resin – the shapeshifter of all materials. Resin can be a hand that lifts high the bright metals without suffocating the warmth of the wood. Milko’s lineage has woodworkers, painters and sculptors in each generation. He studied biology and chemistry in high school and jewelry in the arts academy. Graduated with master’s degree.
